Redemption draws near

Where have the good times gone? Is something every generation has said.   Our world is falling more and more from God every passing moment. This is definitely not the world that we grew up in.  Children are not safe in their own neighborhood, schools or often times their own home.  People are killed just because others don't agree with them or just because they stand for something that others find offensive.  Our Nation has turned its back on God in such a way it should strike fear in you if you don't have faith in Him.  Its like we are in the middle of a bad dream saying to ourselves how can this be?  We see our way of life being stripped away, freedoms we thought we would always have seem to be cast aside for the interest of those who seek to destroy the values and principles that this nation was founded upon!  Family life has become a joke, more and more split family's,  love has definitely waxed cold! Commitment is something that is rarely herd of today.  Its not what can I do for you but sadly its what can you do for me!  Not to mention all the morally wrongs that are called rights and now are called acceptable!  Right will be considered wrong and wrongs will be considered right!  Christian persecution is on the rise and don't think for a minute that is not here for it is very much alive right here at home!  Time will tell who truly follow Christ for when they fear for their life they will flee!  I don't fear what is is coming for my faith and trust are in God!   The Bible tells us these things will happen but we are to look to heaven praising God for our redemption draws near! It would be easy to fear and doubt with all negatively that is so impressing upon us.  However it is written that I should not fear the one that can destroy the body but fear Him who can destroy the body and soul with everlasting fire and torment!  What can man do to me?   It is not ever going to get better while we are in this fleshy form.  When the deposition of time is full Christ will return and God will pour out His judgment upon this sinful world!  Till then I will serve God or till He calls me home.
