The Lord our God takes worship very seriously. In the old testament we see where priest and others where struck down for improper worship. In the new testament we see where Christ says we honor Him with our words yet our hearts are far from Him! Do we today truly worship in truth and spirit? When we give our tithes and offerings are we doing so with hatred, spitefulllness, and unforgiveness in our hearts? If so than we are not worshiping in truth and spirit! The bible says to leave our gift at the altar and go and make amends with our brother and then come back and offer our gift! It is time for us to start worshipping the way God has called us to! It is time for us to take it seriously for God takes it seriously.
